Tornadostorm

We are allright after the tornadostorm that came last night. We had guests in our house that we had to put to safety together with all the dogs but everything went just fine! No injurys on any animals or buildings :) But our pond got a lot bigger...

Japps recovering

Japp is now home. He has been home for three days and already unwrapped his bandaid once so we had to go back to the hospital once and fix it. We will go back to the hospital tomorrow and on Saturday to put new bandage on him. But other than that he is doing great.

We also got the mobilehome for me :) Hopefully I will be able to move in to it in the end of next week! The water and electricity is almost hooked up so it isn't that much left to do :)

We had a horrible weather today with really dark clouds...

The horses were really wet when I took them in this afternoon. But the rain has passed now and when I am writing this the sun actually gets through...

I will try to take some pictures of the cocker spaniel puppies! They are doing great. They are really big! The filly, Sugarsmile DW is also doing really good! It has been so much work lately so I haven't got the time to take so many pictures as I wanted too!

Rain, rain and rain

We now have our third day of raining... but we shouldn't complain - we really need the rain! For me who is here for my first year it is pretty fun to se what the rain does to nature here. It becomes green so much faster than I am used to. Just after this three days of raining you could see a difference! But for us who have animals life is not easier when it rains.

Who wants to be outdoors when it looks like this????

I let al the puppies be out on the big floor and play this morning. They had so much fun.

The puppies will have their BAER-test done on Tuesday next week :)

Tomorrow is the Ribbon Cutting for the Chamber Of Commerce here in Terrell. It will be at 11 AM at the Chamberhouse. I hope that it will be better weather than today :) You are all welcome to come and visit us!

Cold Weather

Time for an update about what is going on here on the Ranch...

The weather has been pretty strange. This is how the fence looked like yesterday morning. It's been very very cold so both the dogs and horses wants to be indoors. Bad for the horses is that the water has frozed in the barn so to get water they need to be outdoors. But they have two blankets on instead. Think about where we are from. This is how it looks like all winter in Sweden... icy, cold, and wet, not nice...

The Cocker Spaniel puppies will be shipped to their new home tomorrow. I will be at the airport at 7 am to drop them of. One of them, Yen, will stay with us. They had their last vetexam yesterday and it went perfectly well so now all the papers should be in order for the trip. They will have a bath tonight so they look nice tomorrow.

We have one of the embroiderymachines up and running. The second one is still broken and we have ordered parts for it that will come during next week. But now we can start doing small things since it is the small machine that works. I will put up some pictures of some of the work we do here...

Daim has been practising agility a couple of times in the last week and he is doing good. He is starting to understand what the wavepoles are about and he thinks it is fun.

The weather here is cold today so the Cocker puppies will have to bee indoors. Good that it was 79 degrees yesterday so they could be out for almost 8 hours! Saint Cox Italian Lira will fly to her new home in New York tomorrow!!!

The Cocker Spaniels were out almost the whole afternoon:

Crispy got her new litterbox that Terry made for her. She loved it!!! It is such a nice box!!!

And Geisha came and gave me some kisses as wellI think they liked the weather today...Yep, it is in Celcius... we brought that thermometer from Sweden...

Last days...

Crispy is getting bigger and bigger. Due for her is on the 3rd of January and I hope that she at least waits until after new year. I want a good start of the new year... :D Otherwise she is doing good.

Molly and her puppies are doing great as well. They have started to eat their own food a little bit. Their eyes are open and they are walking around pretty much. They will move into another room on Monday so Crispy and her puppies can be in the office. That is because Molly and Crispy doesn't get along that well...

There was a fire at our neigbor the other day. Their shop was totaly burned out. I feel so sorry for them. Couldn't it have happened on another day than Christmas day???

Otherwise, I have a cold and that is so annoying. I was in bed almost all day yesterday. Feeling better today so I think that I'll feel better tomorrow. It was a good day to be sick on due to the weather. But we didn't get that much of the thunderstorm...

Upcoming... not much. Home at new year, watching Crispy probably and the horses.

I'm turning 29 today... Happy birthday to me!!!!

All the animals are doing great. They are confused to the weather, one day VERY WARM and two days after that it's freezing. I'll put some pictures of the puppies here tomorrow! They are also doing great!

Today has been a very nice day. Warm but windy... I like it!





Daniela left for home yesterday :(. Our sweet neigbours came by to say goodbye and they brought a cake!

I have talked to Daniela over MSN and she is home but her luggage is lost due to some change of aircrafts so she was pretty mad...

All the puppies are doing great. One of them have started to open his eyes. They are so cute. We will take new pictures of them next week. The purple spots has now turned in to red spots :). It is hard do keep track of them if we don't paint them...

Well well, otherwise nothing is new over here!

Cold!!!

Hi again!

What is this?!? We are moving to Texas to get away from the cold weather in Sweden, and what do we get?!? Right below freezing the whole day. The dogs doesn't want to go out, the horses have two blankets on and I am freezing like never before. Even if the actual temperature is right below freezing, it feels like a lot colder because of the wind... I want it to be warm and nice!


Molly's puppies are doing great. She is taking so good care of them and she also accept other people (read strangers) to come and visit her and her puppies. It is so fun to se how she is taking care of them all!

Mum has decorated the door to the puppies... one stocking for each puppy... do you think Santa will put something in them on Christmas? I think it's adorable :)
