Dalmatians

Daim became father for the first time on the December 7:th. The puppies lives in Sweden but we are very proud of them and want to show our american friends as well how cute they are!

This is Dumle. Dumle is a liverspotted boy and will come to us in the beginning of March 2009, when he is 12 weeks old. Isn't he cute!!! Daim is a proud father :D

We are waiting for the next litter to come. Also Dalmatians. We hope that Crispy can wait until after New Year to deliver the puppies...

Dog Classes

We have now planned the early spring.
There will be some puppyclasses on Saturdays starting January 17:th. And there will be Daily Obedience Classes on Sundays starting January 18:th. The classes will be held at 10894 Country Road 350, next to the Pinetree farm. Maximum 10 in each group and it will cost $80 for 8 occations. Last days...

Crispy is getting bigger and bigger. Due for her is on the 3rd of January and I hope that she at least waits until after new year. I want a good start of the new year... :D Otherwise she is doing good.

Molly and her puppies are doing great as well. They have started to eat their own food a little bit. Their eyes are open and they are walking around pretty much. They will move into another room on Monday so Crispy and her puppies can be in the office. That is because Molly and Crispy doesn't get along that well...

There was a fire at our neigbor the other day. Their shop was totaly burned out. I feel so sorry for them. Couldn't it have happened on another day than Christmas day???

Otherwise, I have a cold and that is so annoying. I was in bed almost all day yesterday. Feeling better today so I think that I'll feel better tomorrow. It was a good day to be sick on due to the weather. But we didn't get that much of the thunderstorm...

Upcoming... not much. Home at new year, watching Crispy probably and the horses.

I'm turning 29 today... Happy birthday to me!!!!

All the animals are doing great. They are confused to the weather, one day VERY WARM and two days after that it's freezing. I'll put some pictures of the puppies here tomorrow! They are also doing great!

Chaos

We start todays blog with a cute picture. Robbin is looking at one of his puppies... isn't it cute?

Today has been totaly chaotic. First, right after lunch Robbin and Question were suddenly outside the fence!!!! How did that happen? They crawled underneith it somewhere. But they came in pretty fast.

Then later in the afternoon a strange sound came from the street. A car rolled up to our house and I watched out to see what was going on when I saw the back of one Dalmatian! OUTSIDE THE FENCE!!! What is this!?! It is totaly dangerous for the dogs to be there! My mum was alread out and I just ran out without shoes. The dogs came to me pretty fast and we got them in to the yard again. Chocked! In some way they manage to open the gate, don't ask me how but they did... a couple of minuits later another neighbour came and asked if we needed help because our closest neigbour called them and said that it was dogs all over the place... but all the dogs were inside then!!!

Before we do anything tomorrow we'll check all fence. We'll walk around and see what might be wrong, where did the Cocker Spaniels sneak out? And we will put locks on the gates so the Dalmatians can't open it... that's for sure...

Another thing... Crispy (the dalmatian) is pregnant so we'll have Dalmatian puppies in the beginnig of 2009!!!! We are so happy for that! We could see four puppies at the X-rays yesterday!!! *JIPPPIIIIEEEEE

Warm and nice

Today has been a very nice day. Warm but windy... I like it!





Daniela left for home yesterday :(. Our sweet neigbours came by to say goodbye and they brought a cake!

I have talked to Daniela over MSN and she is home but her luggage is lost due to some change of aircrafts so she was pretty mad...

All the puppies are doing great. One of them have started to open his eyes. They are so cute. We will take new pictures of them next week. The purple spots has now turned in to red spots :). It is hard do keep track of them if we don't paint them...

Well well, otherwise nothing is new over here!

Hi!


Today Splash welcomes you to the blog. Splash lives at the Animal Care Center in Wills Point where we go to the veterinary with the dogs. I was there this morning with Japp, who has hip dysplasia. The exrays just confirmed what we thought and he will now be on painkillers for a several months and will start with rehab after Christmas. Then we have to take one step at a time and see how he's doing...

Since this is the last days of Danielas stay here in Dallas we thought that she should have seen downtown Dallas before she leavs on Saturday.
We stayed at Potbelly and ate "Chicken Salad Salad". It was awesome :)

Cold!!!

Hi again!

What is this?!? We are moving to Texas to get away from the cold weather in Sweden, and what do we get?!? Right below freezing the whole day. The dogs doesn't want to go out, the horses have two blankets on and I am freezing like never before. Even if the actual temperature is right below freezing, it feels like a lot colder because of the wind... I want it to be warm and nice!


Molly's puppies are doing great. She is taking so good care of them and she also accept other people (read strangers) to come and visit her and her puppies. It is so fun to se how she is taking care of them all!

Mum has decorated the door to the puppies... one stocking for each puppy... do you think Santa will put something in them on Christmas? I think it's adorable :)

Puppies and some more

Hi again!

Our lives are right now surrounded by puppies. Our own puppies are doing well. They eat and sleep and scream, that's it. But they seem to be healthy and Molly is still a very good mum.
On October 8:th Daim mated Evelyn. Yesterday Evelyn got seven puppies. Unfortunatly two was dead but the five that still is here seems to do well so far. Two dogs and three bitches :). Daim is a very proud father!! One of this puppies will presumably move over here when it's old enough.

Daniela mountained Hanniball again today. Looking like a real cowboy they both seems to have a lot of fun :) It was windy today and that was even more fun if you ask Hanniball!

Today some of the dogs will go to the veterinarian to start their deworm program. We are not used to deworm our dogs as much as necessary here. We usually do it once a year and here you have to do it once a month!!! We will start with the Dalmatians and continue with the rest during this week.

I would also like to congratulate Kennel Jillocs who became The Best Breeder Of the year in Sweden 2008!!!! CONGRATULATIONS FROM US ALL!!! WELL DONE!

Christmasdecorations

Yesterday we decorated the barn. Why shouldn't the horses have a nice christmas as we have?

As you might know, our next door neigbours is the christmastree farm here in Terrell. Many of their visitors walks around the farm and looks at the trees. That turns in to that our dogs is kind of an attraction for them :D I Took this picture of Hoppsan waiting for the next people to come and visit her

The puppies are doing fine. They gain weight as they should and the only thing they are doing right now is sleep and eat... a little bit booring the first days until they open their eyes.

Puppies!!!

Molly delivered eight healthy puppies last night, four bitches and four dogs. Seven are red and one of the bitches is black. Everyone seems to be healthy!!!

The mares are home!

Finally... the mares came home this morning!!! They all seems to be alright. We separated the filly, Dallas DW from Aisha directly when they came home and that went perfect! Both Dallas and Aisha accepted it! During the afternoon Sugarbum, Dallas and Hanniball went out for a couple of hours to have some fun... I think the pictures speaks for themselves...
