Puppies and embroidery

The three remaining puppies left for their new homes today!!! I haven't heard from anyone of them yet, but I guess that no news is good news. I took some pictures this morning but haven't been able to unload them from my cellphone yet, so they will come later on... Yen, that is still here is a little bit confused but is taking everything very good. She got the opportunity to meet the dalmatianpuppies today...

The small embroiderymachine is up and running as I told the other day. We made three towels for the dalmatianlitter in Sweden. The point was that the Cocker Spaniel puppies would have their names on a towel when they left but they will have theirs when the AKC papers comes. If anyone really wants it before send us an email and I'll fix it right away

Don't forget our forum. The forum is for everybody, not only our puppybuyers. You are more than welcome to look in to http://daimilus.forum24.se and meet some new friends!

That is pretty much it for today. Now we'll have a nice weekend and I hope you will too!

Cold Weather

Time for an update about what is going on here on the Ranch...

The weather has been pretty strange. This is how the fence looked like yesterday morning. It's been very very cold so both the dogs and horses wants to be indoors. Bad for the horses is that the water has frozed in the barn so to get water they need to be outdoors. But they have two blankets on instead. Think about where we are from. This is how it looks like all winter in Sweden... icy, cold, and wet, not nice...

The Cocker Spaniel puppies will be shipped to their new home tomorrow. I will be at the airport at 7 am to drop them of. One of them, Yen, will stay with us. They had their last vetexam yesterday and it went perfectly well so now all the papers should be in order for the trip. They will have a bath tonight so they look nice tomorrow.

We have one of the embroiderymachines up and running. The second one is still broken and we have ordered parts for it that will come during next week. But now we can start doing small things since it is the small machine that works. I will put up some pictures of some of the work we do here...

Daim has been practising agility a couple of times in the last week and he is doing good. He is starting to understand what the wavepoles are about and he thinks it is fun.

I think that will be all for today!

Agility

First of all...

Three weeks today!!! The Cocker Spaniel Puppies turns seven weeks!

Today has been a lovely weather. A couple of days ago our new agilityjumps came!!! Yehaa!

The dogs just loves it! Daim was the first one to practise and he did a very good job. You could tell that he isn't in shape, nor am I... But we'll get there... Co-Co also tried a little bit. She has never seen jumps before so she thought they were a little bit dangerous. But the treats was good :D

The first dogclass started last Sunday. There are still spots left so give me a call or email if you are interested. A puppyclass will start on Saturday at 3 pm and there are still some spots left at that one too. 8 occations for $80!!!

The weekend

This has been a relaxed weekend. We got our tire on the car fixed yesterday and that was nice.

We got some pictures from Leva and Zlotys (now called Carly & Cody) new owner here in Dallas

Isn't it adorable???

Yen and her sisters and brothers were outside yesterday... She looked pretty happy in their pen?

Molly tried to improve her makeup? I don't think it worked...Balloon opened his eyes yesterday :DI was sitting for almost two hours with the puppies yesterday. It was so lovely! I am so happy for this litter :DThe first dogclass started today and it went well! The rest of the classes will start in february. More information about that will come at the webpage soon!!

Mum is home with pizza now :D

Dogs, vet and tires...

The vetexams went pretty well yesterday. It turned out that S.C. Japaneese Yen had a luxating patella wich means that her knee joint pops in and out. This is nothing she is hurt from but we still need to tell the new owner about that she didn't pass the examination to 100% and give her alternative to or not to take the dog. She choosed not to take the dog. After that we have decided that Yen will stay with us. The rest of the puppies passed their exam perfectly!

Unfortunatly I had to go back to the vet today but with Crispy. She have had earproblems before due to foodallergy and her ears have been iching really bad lately and this morning they were all bloody. We got an appointment to 1PM. I asked for getting Hills Z/D because that is the food that Crispy has been eating the last 2 years and it has been working perfect. Z/D is on prescription here in the US and in Sweden you can get it OTC at a hospital. But thanks to Dr. Kipp Wingo and his staff he fixed two bags out of nowhere to Crispy today! That was so nice of them! They also brought it home to me!
When I was supposed to leave they came and told me I had a flat tire... again. Do You know how much I hate that car??? But once again thanks to the staff an special thanks to Mr. Jones that helped me change the tire so I could just stand there and look like a stupid girl (as I was because I can't change tires...) and drive home safetly.

We have to go and fix that tire tomorrow so we don't drive around on a spare tire for long...

Saint Cox German Mark left for his new home last night. We got a report this morning that the night worked out just perfect! Saint Cox Bulgarian Leva and Saint Cox Polish Zloty moved to their new family today. They will both be in Dallas, in the same family... The rest of the puppies will stay for another 1½ weeks...

I think that will be it for today!

Oliver...

The Saint Bernards are usually in the garage. Yesterday we left Oliver there and Geisha in another room because Geisha is in heat and we wanted her to have a rest from a very intensive Oliver. But when we came home after 2½ hours we found Oliver outside the garage...

He jumped out of the window!!!

We went straight ahead to the vet without looking closer if it was necessary. I just made the math my self that an 144 lb dog + window = not good. He might have glass in his wounds or anything that I couldn't see in his big furr. But he was lucky. He only got small cuts in his mouth and a small on his paw that didn't need stitches. So I went home with a big dog and $50 less in my pocket... and a broken window that we hopefully will get fixed during this week.
